Week 6 questions

Hi all!
I was so pleased to complete my day 3 of week 5 - 20 mins none stop jogging.
I have looked at week 6 and it goes back to intervals . Does anyone know why? Having run 20 mins comfortably I am tempted now to ignore day 1&2 of week 6 and just do 20 min jogs.
Am I being silly by doing that? Is there a good reason that my over keeness can't see for going back to intervals?
