Get Running Forums

hi

been using this app for a few weeks but after updating to IOS5 I am now unable to play music in background.

Apps like tuneinradio will play ok but as soon as I start Get Running, tunein radio will pause

So annoying ... I have tried restarting phone etc but no joy

Any thing in settings on app or settings on phone I need to amend ?

I've never tried using Tune in Radio with Get Running, so I can't be of much help there. Maybe try a different music app? I've never had trouble with Pandora, and use it for all my runs.

I'm a TuneIn Radio user too. I just tried this on my iPhone 3GS, running iOS 5.1, and it seems to work okay for me. The radio carries on playing when I fire up Get Running. I'm using the latest version of both apps.

Hopefully response times should be pretty quick, but do bear in mind that Benjohn and his wife had a baby yesterday, so he can't devote quite as much time to support as he usually would!
