Week 1 AGAIN.

Well, I'm in my second week of trying to run and I'm starting Week 1 again. I've NEVER been a runner, I'm almost 50 years old and 50 lbs overweight (isn't there a 50/50 app for that?!). When do you think I'll reasonably graduate to Week 2?

Here's what I've learned so far, 1. Running with a friend is not fun. They are too fast and I can't keep up even when they are trying to slow down for me. 2. Humidity is not my friend. I can't catch my breath. 3. My chubby miniature schnauzer isn't as slow as I thought she was :geek:

How many weeks can I expect to do Week 1 again and again? Remember, I've NEVER been a runner.

It may take three or four repeats of week 1 before you feel prepared enough to move to week 2, and that is okay! Everyone progresses at their own rate. Congrats for starting the program at all, that takes motivation.
