Re: feeling so accomplished!

Good on you starknut!! I did week 3 run 1 yesterday and I was so nervous.. I remember getting to about the 2 min mark of the first 3 min run and I thought "woah.. I think I actually can do this!" and I did- and it absolutely blew my mind. Cannot wait for the feeling of achievement when I d...

Re: Running at 4:30am a bad idea?

Alibhe, to be honest I'm worried about December weather haha it can get stinking hot! Even in evenings it can get super humid.. I think I'll stick with early morning before the sun comes up because it's probably the coolest part of the day. I just hope I stick with it because I really hate sweat and...

Re: Running at 4:30am a bad idea?

I think its a great time, if you manage to wake up that early! Think of it this way- you're kickstarting your metabolism - and if its hot this time of year (like where I'm from in aus) then you beat that morning-sun heat! I wake up at 6 and go for the run- my body absolutely hates me when I'm gettin...

Re: One down!

And did week 3 run 1 this morning.. I cannot and could no believe I managed to run 3 minutes straight! It's beyond me but the creators of this app knew exactly what they were doing. Loved when coach Claire said "remember- that's three times the run you could do 2 weeks ago!" I was like YEE...

Re: One down!

Woohoo!! Just finished week 2! I'm so proud of myself!

I find that getting up early and getting ready for the run, I'm dreading it, but once I get going its great!! It's seriously not as hard as I thought it would be :)

Can't wait to start week 3..

Re: One down!

Thanks for the advice starknut and june194! I did week 2 run 1 this morning!! And it was a great success- super proud of myself. As ive been reading on this forum, I took the runs super slow and steady and was able to quite easily finish the run! Wooohooooo!! June194- that's a good point about the t...

Re: One down!

Hey guys, again thanks for all the kind words. I'm a bit bummed out today- was really tired getting up this morning but thought 'no I have to do this!' so I went out on the run expecting it to be easy.. Straight away I was struggling and gasping and stuff. Managed to do most of it but in run 7 I had...

Re: One down!

Wow thanks for all the encouragement guys!! I got up early and did run 2 this morning- I think it was marginally easier than the first. I just kept thinking 'if I have done this once, I can do it again!' which seemed to work! I think thats probably the best thing about the program, usually you will ...

Just wanted to say hi and let you all know that your posts have inspired me to start the program. I'm doin...
