feeling so accomplished!

Post by starknut »

I had to take another week off to give my shin splints some time to heal - hoping desperately this is the last time - and went out this morning to tackle W4R1. Remembering how tough I found the three minute runs when they were the long ones freaked me out: ow would I manage that and then an even longer run? But I got out there and had no trouble at all, and not even a ping from my shins! I feel so accomplished right now, I can't even imagine how amazing it will feel to finish the big run at the end of next week.

Well done! :) I've just started week 2 and even running for a minute and a half is a little scary.

Good on you starknut!! I did week 3 run 1 yesterday and I was so nervous.. I remember getting to about the 2 min mark of the first 3 min run and I thought "woah.. I think I actually can do this!" and I did- and it absolutely blew my mind. Cannot wait for the feeling of achievement when I do a 5 minute run!
