Re: Hi all have a question...

It seems to go in fits and starts--partly it seems to be seasonal, with spring (in the northern hemisphere, at least!) being the most popular season to start running :) People are certainly still buying the Get Running app, though unlike when we started there are a lot of other apps following the C2...

Re: 3.2 miles in 30 min?

Hi MAR, So, how far are you actually running? (5km is 3.1 miles...) I'm a very slow runner--always right at the back of the field on every race I've ever run with other people--but I find that I can cover 5K in about 35 minutes. The main idea with the Couch to 5K is that if you can manage the half-h...

Which is sort of important in a forum for a mobile app! Everything should work pretty much the same as before, or hopefully slightly be...

Forum Downtime Sunday 8th Feb

Hi all, Just a bit of advance warning: the Get Running forums will be unavailable today (8 Feb 2015), from around 10:30AM UTC, for around an hour. This is to allow us to upgrade the forum software, which should also help us make it look better on mobile phones. Regards, Matt, the Get Running web elf.

Re: Should I skip some weeks?

Heh. I never had that problem with the plan; I was usually lucky to finish any given day until the last couple of weeks, when I started feeling more confident, from what I remember. If you're feeling good about running and holding back is annoying you, then I doubt there's any harm in skipping forwa...

Re: Just completed week 2 but...

Don't worry about speed at the moment. (I'm guessing your partner understands and is less worried about it than you are?) The C25K is about building the stamina you need to run continuously, not about speed; the speed can come later. Can you send your partner off to sprint ahead and then come back t...
