first day

hello my name is amanda and i live in Brighton, Have never run before and did m 1st day today :D. After giving up smoking 5 months now :D :D :D I put on a bit of weight, I do aqua aerobics, but all ways fanced giving running ago. I live near the sea front and see people running all the time. thought i would feel a bit silly but no felt so chuffed with myself... will keep you posted on my progress.

Hi Amanda,
Congratulations!

I also decided to take the plunge and start the c25k programme. I did my wk1 r3 today and found it ok. I am really enjoying it and getting a great sense of satisfaction after each run. I did my 2nd run on grass and found it easier, so may consider going to the local pitch instead of staying road running.

i will keep you posted on my progress.

Nice one finished my first week yesterday and loving it the sense off achievement is such a buzz, am glad I gave up smoking 5 months ago otherwise don't think I could possible do it. Keep going

Week 2 run 1 completed yesterday. That half minute definitely makes a difference. I hot through it ok. Hope you are getting on ok.
