Surprised myself totally

Post by Sladonians »

Hi all

Just wanted to give an update.

Went straight in at week 2, just done week 4 run 2 and have to say that the 5 minute runs are not as bad as I thought this week.

Last week I did struggle a bit getting up to 3 minutes but no probs this week.

Legs a bit achey but feeling great overall.

I admit I am doing it on a treadmill in the gym but combine the running with a 15 minute level 6 hill program on a cross trainer followed by 15 minutes level 6 hill on an exercise bike. Total workout time including stretches and some core strength mat exercises is about 1.5 hours which I do every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I don't want to sound evangelical but I can now 'hear' my body talking to me telling me when and what I need by way of food and drink etc. Weird but the sceptic in me has been proved completely wrong.

I have dropped to 15 stone 10 lbs and the belt has come in 2 notches.

This is a fabulous app and it really is a case of just do it.

4 weeks ago I was struggling to run for 1 minute, now I am looking forward to week 5 run 3 to see if I can do 20 minutes non stop.

Thanks again guys and I will keep you all posted

Andy
