Week one

Post by Swllwmzn »

Just did the first session! The first run was the worst - anyone else find that? I haven't run or even exercised much for far too long. Realised I was getting very grumpy and stressed (I'm a local government worker...) so really need some endorphins! Going to take it slowly though, planning on sticking to week one for a while - my knees are a bit unreliable.. And I'm "running" very slightly faster than walking but it's enough to make me out of breath so it will do!

:-) Fantastic! Go ahead and use week one until you're comfortable about doing more, it's definitely best to follow your body, it knows what it's up to.

I think most people find the first run is the worst. I'm not quite sure why :-) Try doing a few 20-30 second jogs in your warm up. That helps for me.

Happy running,
