Have I bitten off too much?
So I joined a gym in Jan as part of my new year, new me plan, I also changed my diet and slowly built myself up to a pretty good workout. But the weight just wasn't coming off, so I've been trying to incorporate this program and it took a few weeks to finish W1R1, I finally did it! And today I completed W1R2! However, this was not before I hired a trainer for 1x a wk for 6 months, soo now I'm sore but I don't mind, what I don't want is to hurt myself. Can anyone tell me how I can make both of my new commitments to work without killing myself?

You can definitely mix up other exercise with your running. Try to avoid running on Get Running's rest days though, but you're fine doing something else (weights, stretching, what ever you like really). Your trainer should be clued up about this and able to suggest exercise that will let you recover from the running while doing something else.
