Week 1 run 1

Post by Trahyl »

This is my first time running, I'm doing it to lose weight, get fit and to get some time out from my very busy schedule!! I'm a bit nervous but I plan on registering for a 5k charity run & actually RUN it :D

I currently weigh 12st and would love to get to 9 st. I have tried everything else.just finished day one. Feeling very positive..... Hope it lasts. Hubby has tried to teach me to run but to no avail. I managed to do All of day one except last 10 seconds of last run.the joys of the iPod...only everyone else can hear my wheezing.I am oblivious to all. I have found that wearing sunglasses also makes me invisible....rose tinted spectacles of course.

Good for you. I just started Day 1, Week 1 today myself. I had been very active but since Sept. I've kind of fell off the exercise wagon. I gained 15 pound of Winter weight and feel miserable. I too have signed up for a 5K in July. I think this will help me so much as I will thing of exercising as "training." :)

Well I completed the first week and I can't believe it, starting week 2 tomorrow!!! But I'm very nervous about it, I just don't want to fail or get hurt! But I'm so determined to do it, here's hoping I stick to it I've told too many people not too!!!!!!!

Just ran run 1, week 1. And found it tough enough. Please tell me it gets easier as you go along!!! Feel good after it though.

I downloded the get running app about 4weeks ago, every weekend I say that i am going to start but never do, so today I actually got out and did the first run!! :)
Thought I would feel silly doing a run then walk run then walk but with my music going I didn't care.
I am mega unfit but hope now I can keep it up, complete the app and see a difference each week.
