Sore knees

Post by Pistonbroke68 »

Week 3 run 3 just completed! My only problem is after I've finished running my knees become very sore. I had no problems in the earlier, shorter runs. Has anyone any ideas how I can overcome this problem. I don't want to give up! I'm really enjoying running!

My knees were achy straight away. I've started to regularly take Linseed oil. I don't eact fish so wanted to avoid cod liver oil and was recommended linseed for the same purpose. Have to say my knees have improved

You might want to look at the shoes you are using, and go to a specialised running shop to see what they say. Friends who've had knee problems got rid of them instantly when they got the right kind of shoe.

Thanks,

My doctor recommended I do a lot of squats to help my knees. And to do some with my feet slightly angled out. It has helped my achy knees.
