Back running

Post by Bhllal »

Hello I am in my first week. Tomorrow is my last run for week one. How long until you begin to notice a change in how you feel? I mean that in an endurance prospective. I have been a walker for years and have a few first place trophys for racewalking but I want to run again. For the first time I can run and not hurt doing this program. I am 45 and two years ago had a back surgery so when I run I feel it but so far week one is good.

I think most people find that while any one run may be a little harder or a little more easy, as the weeks progress, the runs feel about as demanding as each other. So, if you remember that the runs are actually getting more and more demanding, you can be pretty sure that you yourself are getting stronger and stronger :-)

Thanks for the reply. I just finished week 2 today. Week three definitely looks more demanding.
