Gait analysis

Post by Icklerose »

I went to a running specialist store today and had a gait analysis done and it was very beneficial indeed. I discovered i certainly do overpronate when running ( I have flat feet ) i got shoes that were recommended for my problem so lets hope that i dont get sore calf muscles as much.

Thanks for letting us know! I'd love to hear how you find that when you start running in them.

Happy running,

Well i ran my Week 1 day 3 with my new running shoes on and what a difference. No pain in my leg where i had a break 2 years ago and it was causing lots of pain before and tightness in my calf on the same leg. I only had slight tightness today which was great. I did lots of stretching after my run (which i wasn't doing enough of) which seemed to help too and i can honestly say i am glad i made the trip to the Run4it store in Edinburgh. They gave me wonderful advice and i would recommend anyone with problems to go to a specialist running store as it makes a huge difference.
