think it may be called shin splints and I'm in agongy.
Should I rest this or fight through the pain?
I'm due to run tomorrow and its may day 2 of week 5 and will be gutted if I dont acheive this.

Never never run through the pain, unless it's really very mild and goes away.

There is lots of good shin splints advice on the forum, have a search about for it, and also check out Google. RICE treatment is probably your first call, and getting fitted shoes too.
thanks Ben, its actually far more painful when I walk then when I run!
Managed to do my Wednesday run but have my day 3 of week 5 tomorrow which will be my first 20 minute run and am geared up mentally for this!!
As I said its strange the fact that its more painfil to walk then run but worried if I'm making things worse.
