Help! What shall I do??

Just starting out with Get Running? Chat about the basics of running, what clothes to wear, where to run... anything you like!

Thanks everyone for your advice and encouragement! My 9 days rest is over and my shoulder is better. I am setting my alarm to get up early and start again where I left off, beginning of week 4!! Feeling pretty nervous about it but will let you know how I get on tomorrow!

Ok, so I did it!! Decided to start where I left off and did week 4 run 1 this morning. Found it pretty tough but I managed to do it!! I think I just have this mental block which will not let me stop running until the nice lady on the app tells me I can!!! I'm feeling quite pleased with myself! I have ordered an iPod armband thingy but it hasn't arrived yet so I ran with the phone in my bra! It worked fairly well. Excited now to get on with the programme. I must say I don't really enjoy the running, but I like the walking part and also the sense of satisfaction when it is over!
