Week 5 run 2 and 3

Post by urbanrunner »

Today I achieved what 5 weeks ago I would have said was impossible! I ran for 20 minutes without stopping! I cannot emphasise enough how difficult week 1 was for me but I have followed the plan religiously and here I am, a runner.
I just wanted to give a bit of encouragement to those who find week 5 run 2 difficult like I did. I was having serious doubts after that run that I would be able do run 3 but I put my faith in the programme and read lots of posts about the best way to approach it and I did it.
Thanks to every one involved with this programme - I am yet another one with a new lease of life. Along with running and eating healthy food I have managed to lose 8 lbs (I'm aiming to lose a stone!) in 5 weeks! Feeling great!!

Great stuff and well done. I've got the dreaded week 5 coming up next week and I'm not over confident I'll do well with it.

Thanks so much! I'm sure you'll be fine - believe me if I can do it anyone can!! I woke this morning feeling like I had an exam and I haven't felt like that for 30 years!! Good Luck.
