Re: running more than every other day
My understanding is that the every other day training is essential to allow your muscles, bones, and ligaments time to recover and recuperate. Its on those off days that your body has a chance to grow strong. If you skip out on the rest days, then you're hurting your progress. If you're running every day, then you're not following the Couch to 5K program and you're not going to see optimal results.

Hi KMarch,
I'll second what JaySonJaz says – time resting is important. However, you don't have to stick rigidly to the exact dates that Get Running suggests. If you run on days that better fit your schedule, Get Running will adapt and update the suggested schedule. Do try to get four days of rest in a week though (and three days of running).
Happy running!
