Well. My day finally arrived today, my last run at the end of week 9!!
It has been truly life changing, this whole ap has been amazing and I urge anyone embarking on this programme to keep on going even when your thighs burn and lungs feel like they wanna bleed
On Sunday I also completed a 5K Race For Life in aid of Cancer Reserach Uk, which was amazing. I am so proud of myself, and am joining my local running club next week to build on what I have achieved
Good luck guys and I will still be here reading your stories!!
Well done Samantha. It feels great, and getting on to bigger and better things is where the challenge really begins. I ran my first 10K last night, and am loving it. Stick around - as I am trying to - to help out the others going through what we did. Best of luck with everything!
“Suddenly, I was part of something. I was part of the running community. The more open I was about my running, the more open others were about theirs. I found out that runners love to talk about running.”
