Well done Emma. It's no surprise, but it's good to hear you did it. You're a runner!

I'm a little puzzled - I'm going to start on w5, r1 on Saturday and the description of week 5 says 3 runs of each 5 min with a break of 3 min between the runs - so how can you guys talk about a 20-min run?? Help help thanks

Hi Birgit. The last run of wk 5 is a non-stop 20 min run. Wk 5 is different from the previous weeks has three different runs, rather than just three runs that are the same. Hope that helps somewhat.
And thanks to everyone for all the posts - can't wait for my next run today!

I bet you'll find it hard to curb your enthusiasm in w6r1 and stick to 5+8+5! But don't rush it. Cos W6R3 is 1 x 25min! :-)

Hi Birgit. If you tap the little map on the bottom of the getRunning app - you will notice in week 5 and week 6 that runs 1, 2 and 3 all are slightly different. Unlike the rest of the GetRunning app - where all three runs are the same.
w5r1 = 3 x 5min runs
w5r2 = 8 + 8
w5r3 = 20
w6r1 = 5 + 8 + 5
w6r2 = 10 = 10
w6r3 = 25
w7 = 25 three times
w8 = 28 three times
w9 = 30 three times
Hope this explains! Good luck in w5 :-) Mike
