Just done week 5 run 2 and seen whats looming on run 3
Managed 15 mins then a 10 and a 6min run on Thursday, all I need to do is put the 3 together to make 1 run
Gym tomorrow, Saturday I'll let you know how I got on, It'll either be a depressed note on here or a YeeeeeeeeHa
It takes a while for the sound to cross the Atlantic. That's why I started early.
Take it slow and steady. Each time I've increased time, my distance has decreased because I've slowed down. I figure that even if I'm jogging at a pace that isn't much more than a fast walk, I'm still jogging. Best of luck tomorrow. - Shari
woooooooooo hoooooooooooooo I did it
20 minutes solid running -woop, though the last 3 minutes were a bit of a killer and I had to slow down a bit but gave it all I got for the last and final minute.
So proud of myself afterwards I walked for 2 mins then ran for another 15 mins then did a full workout in the gym, burnt off over 520 calories.
Feel a bit knackered now though lol.
Just an update, still using the app but did a free train at the gym, I ran for 30 mins solid
Nearly killed me and my legs were like jelly after but so proud of myself.
Decided the only way now is up & I need to run faster so upped the speed on the treadmill by another 10 and nearly shot off the end until I got the hang of it . Managed to do 15mins fast running/flat out which I was pleased about.
I need to build my stamina up now plus I aim to do a 5K race next year
How's everyones elses running going ?
Have fun -Maddy
