I've just been checking things out trying to decide between apps. This thread, and the wonderful information on the home page for the app have done it for me.

Hello and welcome - It's a brilliant app (and forum) I am STILL !!!!!!! on week 7 but still enjoying it. I don't want the program to come to an end.....I will just have to keep rerunning it as I progress! :)

Are you new to running too ????

I am now on Week 6, I found run 3 of week 5 a challenge but got through it and feel good.

Looking forward to try and increase the distance and speed over the next couple of weeks.

How is everyone else doing?

Hey well done! :) I have been finding it a bit harder to fit in....just that I commute quite a way to work and I have been working early/late...before that I was ill for a week so I have really had a few weeks of more rest days than run days.....hopefully after next week it should ease up a bit...

I did W7D2 today and REALLY struggled. Everything was wrong so i hgave up!! lol Will go out tomorrow (i didn't do enough to need a rest day! )

How about everyone else? How is Weight wathers going??

Hi everyone. Just an update. I have been doing well with Weight Watchers, down 5 pounds. I have a mental block with week 5, day 3 the twenty minute run. I have not even attempted it! I have still been working out jogging/walking but I have not pressed that RUN button! Mentally I am a bit freaked about running 20 minutes at one time. I know I need to just do it as Nike would say. Okay, I will commit to this group to push the RUN button tomorrow after work. I weigh in on Wednesdays so for those who watch The Biggest Loser it will be my last chance workout. I am feeling more positive about it already.

Started day 1 today. So great to see I'm not the only overweight person attempting this. I can't wait to have the lung capacity to run 5 minutes straight. I'm an ex smoker
and haven't had a cigarette in 2 years and hoping my past habit doesn't slow me down too much.

Take a look at this thread on the 20 minute run in week five, it's good reading before hand :-)

If you ever want to repeat a run, you can select it (on the journey) and press the Run button. You should definitely feel happy to take things at your own pace and repeat runs if you want to. You're doing great!

Hi Everyone

Glad to see everyone is doing well. :D

I am just about to start week 7 run 1 tomorrow and really looking forward to it. So many times through some of the runs I felt like giving up but for some reason just kept on going and I am glad I did.

Lost 8lbs over the last 3 weeks and feeling a lot better. :D

Hi everyone! Still going strong. Now that the weather is nice I decided to get off of the treadmill. Yesterday walked (jogged maybe a 1/2 mile) of a 3.3 mile loop around a lake at a local park. It is quite hilly and I felt great. Took me 47 minutes so I was quite happy. Will jog more of it next time. Really just wanted to see if I could go the whole 3.3 miles. Next week is my Weight Watchers 5k. I am nervous and excited. Keep up the good work everyone. You are an inspiration!
