AC/DC - Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell
Lady Gaga - Edge of Glory
Flo Rida/Etta James - Good Feeling
Calvin Harris - a big selection of his stuff!
Dolly Parton - Baby I'm Burning
Bothy Band - Kesh Jig
In fact, if you're Scottish (like me) or Irish, you might find a good jig or reel will get you going!!
For me, I have four songs that get me running again! I wouldn't call them inspirational or motivating, but I always run better to the sound of them.
1) G.F.A by Blood on the Dance Floor
2) IDGAF, also by Blood on the Dance Floor
3) Have You Ever Danced? by Breathe Carolina
4) Prom Night by Jeffree Star
These are pretty upbeat, bubblegum pop (for the most part) like, but the beat keeps me going strong!
Shea
Inspired to be able to run, desired to lose all this excess weight.
1 stronger- Kelly clarkson
2 sexy and I know it- lmfao
3 gives you hell- American rejects
4 c'mon feel the noize
5 country girl (shake it for me)- Luke Bryan
If you use Spotify (which is currently free for 6 months for Virgin Media XL customers) I have put together a running playlist and just hit shuffle for each run. http://sharemyplaylists.com/keeps-you-r ... -more-song
Great thread, I will be cherry picking some of these
Highlights of my runs last week were Everlong by Foo Fighters and when Claire said "Start Running in 10 seconds" during the intro of Bitter Sweet Symphony by the Verve.
“Suddenly, I was part of something. I was part of the running community. The more open I was about my running, the more open others were about theirs. I found out that runners love to talk about running.”
