Hi fellow runners,
On a massive high right now as I've completed wk1 run1!! Want to go again!
2.25 miles in 30 minutes. I'm pleased.
Before starting out today I have done a week of preparation. I've walked out a 3mile route twice and 30 minute interval training of 30sec running 1.5 minute walking to make sure the shiny new trainers were comfortable. I jumped ahead a bit and had a gait analysis and proper trainer fit before starting as previous attempts to run (without app) have failed miserably due to large amounts of pain in feet and shins.
Awesome little app. Using runkeeper to track stuff, but lovely lady "just 10 more seconds" lol. Brilliant.
It was totally worth the walking, gait analysis and new trainers as little pain today, barely noticed. Really feeling good and hope the enthusiasm lasts beyond this week!
Good luck to all those what ever stage your at. Can't wait till Wednesday to run again. Who'd of thought it!!!!

I downloaded runkeeper after reading your post, will be interesting to see how far I get on W1 R1 (second attempt!) with it today.

I have been using run keeper for tracking my walks, just switched it to tracking running. Feel the same, this is a lot of fun so far, the app is amazingly so easy to use.
