Just did my first run of week 2, very strange but i found it pretty easy! My legs must be getting used to it..!?

Also, i think it helps only having 6 runs instead of 8 like week 1.. Even though you run longer i think mentally its easier with less runs, plus you get 2 minute rests

My calves were tight and my feet hurt for the first 2 weeks or more. After new shoes and getting used to running, I felt better. My calves still burn a bit during the warmup for my 25 minute run and after they are tight. This is normal for me because I wasn't exercising at all before so of course my muscles are going to protest.

You'll feel better in no time. The first weeks are the hardest. I'm nearing the end of week 7 and feel no pain and am enjoying this program immensely.

Congratulations on starting!!!

A few tips on sorting out knee/ankle/leg pains in my other post here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=951#p5287 - short version is that stretching and trigger point work sorted out pain for me.

Hi I must say make sure you have good stretch time one good one is to put your foot ( toe part) on a wall or something solid the lean in to it it really stretches out the back of the calf good shoes help to along with icing your legs for a while
