Music to run to?

Post by C25KSarah »

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has bought, and can recommend, any of these running compilations I see advertised on TV?

I'm a bit of an indie/rock girl but am increasingly finding that poppy/dancey stuff in the charts is more motivating whilst running - I just don't own any of it so need some guidance!

I'm in the UK btw :)

Thanks!

I have used i tunes and made up my own playlist of upbeat stuff. I have 2 different ones. I started off listening to dance music, and the type of thing you would hear in the gym, but my second playlist which I have used more recently is rock music (which i prefer anyway)

I recommend Pandora Radio. The app works on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, and it offers a wide variety of music stations. I usually listen to the Pop Fitness station when I run; the music is fast paced and energetic and really helps keeps me going.

UK runner here too. I snapped up a 6 month FREE Spotify trial with my Virgin broadband and have a Spotify running playlist that I would be lost without.

Feel free to cherry pick :)
