Week 3, Run 1

Post by michele97 »

So pleasantly surprised. I was so scared at the thought of running 3 straight minutes, but I did it! It wasn't easy, but it sure wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. At one point, during the second long run, I wanted to give up, but I pushed through. I might just have a runner hiding somewhere inside me....

Good job to you both! I've just started week 4. I was a little nervous about it but I got through the entire session. Its a bit harder than week 3 but not too much. Keep running!!

Hi, just joined so a bit new but start my week 3 run 1 on Sunday. Just like you really nervous about completing 3 mins. I walk fast and just completed a walk for charity at 20 miles, but I am always a fast walker! Want to be able to run, so set myself this mission. Good luck let me know how your doing.

Y'all took me back! Wow, I remember what it was like to run 3 minutes straight for the first time just a few weeks ago... such a sense of accomplishment! I am now about to start week 8 and can run now for 25 minutes straight. I am proud of each and everyone of you and you will be amazed at by the end of next week you will be running for 20 minutes! Don't get scared you all can do this!

Great job everyone! It's true, the runs gets easier as we move forward. I'm in week 4 now. I was terrified at the thought of 5 minute runs. I"m still struggling with the 5 minute ones, but the 3 minute runs are coming pretty easy. Just last week I was struggling with those 3 minute ones!
