I made it through run 1 fairly easily. The three 5 minute runs were challenging but I pushed through. Today I attempted Run 2. I made it through the first 8 minute run, although I struggled. However, the second 8 minute run, I only made it 4 minutes before I needed to start taking frequent walking breaks. I'm feeling rather disappointed in myself, as this is the first time I didn't make it through one of the runs. Has anyone else not made it through this on the first try? Should I repeat this run until I master it, or try to move forward to the 20 minute run?

Don't be disappointed try again, you've got this far and that's fantastic. It was just a bad day. Tomorrow could be a good day.
I've got that run on Saturday, let you know how I get on.

I read somewhere that you often have a bad run before a dramatic improvement ( can't remember where or I'd post the link) try motto lose privation I'm sure you'll get there!

Well, on the second try, I made it. I REALLY struggled with the second run though. I think I will repeat this run one more time before moving on to the big one. Thanks for the support!

I just had the same experience. W5r1 I found easy, r2 I managed the first 8 mins but second one I managed 6 mins before I ended up walking! So annoyed as this is my first set back. Really wondering how I will do 20 mins in one go!
