This is incredible: I just ran for 30 minutes straight, and it's only my third run in week 6! After the 20 minutes of week 5 I thought week 6 would be easy, but it has been a struggle, so I dreaded the 25 minute run today. But it was the easiest run so far, so I figured: why not go for the 30 minutes? And I actually managed to do it!!!
It's hard to believe that only a little while ago I was a couchpotato with 40 kg of excess weight (I have now lost all this excess weight),that 6 weeks ago I couldn't run for 1 minute, and I have now run for half an hour!
I have never posted anything here before, but I read the forum on a daily basis. It has really helped me to read about everyones running adventures. If I dreaded the new run, I just came here and felt so encouraged. I'm posting this now because I hope this will help some of you as well! If I can do it, so can you!
30 minutes of running in week 6!!!

That's fantastic! Well done!
Re: 30 minutes of running in week 6!!!
Yay for you! It does feel awesome to realize you are doing something you couldn't do only 6 weeks ago. I love this program.
I do W6R3 tomorrow and I can't wait. I am really starting to love running. I think it is great to challenge yourself to go just that little bit further. I did this too at the beginning of week 6 on the first run. On the last 5 minute interval, I decided I would set a goal of 8 instead to see if I would do it, and I did, 5 minutes seems so short now, I am just getting into a groove by then. Hard to believe I struggled with 1.5 min segments only weeks ago.
Congratulations on your 30 minutes! Well done!

Good for you! This is the most amazing app I've got! I quit weighing myself because I wasn't losing weight but now I don't care! My body is shrinking because it is more toned and the scale just doesn't matter. I am on week6 and did run 1 today. The first thing I do after I'm through is read posts. It makes me feel like I'm part of something wonderful! The people here are so encouraging and helpful. I don't know anyone personally but they help me do much and so often, I wish I did! Congrats on ALL of your runs! Yay you!
