Stitch- any hints

Post by Chrissyteacup »

I'm on w4 just completed r3 but don't see how I can run for longer than 5 mins since after about 4 mins I get stitch I've managed to run through to finish the 5 but it hurts any tips for getting rid of it?

Steady, even breaths help tremendously. Slow down your pace so you can breathe easier throughout the run, not just when you start getting stitches. Depending on how much you hydrate before a run, you may want to cut back and see if that helps: save the majority of your hydration for after the run.

I suffered horribly with stitches, nearly passed out from them on several occasions, and these are the two things that really made a difference for me.

I second what starknut said! These things have worked for me thus far.
