Q) "Can I run more"? A) …

Post by benjohn »

Here's a question that regularly comes up: "can I run more" and even "can I run every day". I just found this great article on this topic with a good explanation of why rest is important, and how you can train more while still getting to rest.

Happy running!

Thanks for this - very useful. I was particularly interested in the bit about 6 months being the minimum base required for brand new runners as I honestly think its going to take me about that to compleat the programme. Most of that has been the early weeks and a couple of injury weeks out. The first couple of weeks as a never run before - ever - over 40 and overweight person were really difficult and whilst it's still not easy it no longer seems unachievable I know I will get there. :D
