I finished my last run of the program on 8/26. Just ran a "real" 5K yesterday and finished in 26.14! That was good enough for a 50th place finish from a field of 108, and 11th of 15 for my age bracket.
Happy to have finished with a "respectable" time and to have the feeling that I could do better with just a little more training.
Moving onto an advanced beginner program to start working on improving my times ... maybe get toward a 10K by next year. (http://running.about.com/od/racetrainin ... ginner.htm)
