Is anyone else having this issue, ( although I'm not complaining) just wondering!
I am currently running 25mins in one go and have to admit to not stretching pre run or post run, but I can honestly say I have not ached at all since starting w1r1. A friend suggests that I'm not pushing myself enough but I think I am. I am several stone overweight, struggling to run for the allotted 1min at the start as a really couch potatoe, by the end of my runs I am chuffing for breath,( many previous years of smoking added to this) and legs feel like lead, as if I can hardly pick them up. Granted I'm not the fasted runner but it has continued to freak me out that I don't ache like hell the day after my runs!
Might just be down to a fab programme that get running is but would like to hear off others to see if it's the same with them

Re: Lack of aching post run
Personally, I never had any trouble with aching after a run with c25k. Not that I didn't struggle, or push myself, because lord did I ever, but my body adapted wonderfully and I never felt like I was attempting something too difficult. The only time I ever hurt the day after a run was when I added 15 minutes to my normal running time. As long as you're making progress, which you must be if you're running for 25 minutes, don't worry! You're doing great!
Re: Lack of aching post run
Thanks for answering, so glad I'm not the only one although I don't think I could add on an extra 15mins to a run, although I do try to tag on an extra minute or so after I get my breath back. Just goes to show that if you exercise right and gradually build up, there's no pain afterwards
