Lacking motivation

Post by Jbutler »

Week 8 run one is here and I find myself not so excited to run. I think part of the problem is the heat which i terribly hate (it makes me run slow and sweat more than I'd like).

The funny thing is I look forward to the run all day, but when it comes time to do it I'm not so excited for it.

Here's a swift kick in the butt to get me out the door this morning before it gets hot out.

It's perfectly normal to run slowly in the heat! It happens to everyone! Don't let it get you down.

I wish I could switch with you simongeorge, I love running in the rain! A couple weeks ago we had a bunch of rain and I had my best times.

I was able to do my run this morning, part of the problem is that we only have a couple months of heat here so you can never really get use to the heat. I don't mind the fact that I'm slow, I just don't like the feeling of being hot.
