Week 3, Run 1.. completed!

Post by Britt0422 »

Hi all, this is my first post here but I have been reading some of your stories. I have to say, they have helped me to stay motivated knowing that this program has worked for so many of you!
I just completed week 3, run 1.. and honestly, it was easier than what I expected! I was so nervous about this run and that I wouldn't be able to run for a complete 3 minutes; but I stayed focused, paced myself, concentrated on my breathing and I did it! I never would have thought I would be able to run for 3 minutes. I remember that my W1R1 was horrible, I barely made it but did manage to complete it. Hoping I will still be staying motivated and that my brain won't be telling me I can't do it in the upcoming weeks. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who post here for inspiring people like me!

Congrats on your run! I think we all are/were in the same boat when we first started the program...My first 3/5 minute runs were awful and I dreaded them so much. I was in my head too much while running and I couldn't focus. I started to look at scenery more and think of things other than my running...it makes the run so much more enjoyable!

Congrats again, and keep it up! It's worth it!

Awesome job! I was the same way. I was super nervous about the 3/5 minute runs and I didn't think I could possibly do 30. Now I just finished week 7 run 1 (25 minutes) with ease although I NEVER imagined I would be able to do it. You've definitely got this! Keep it up :D
