Dance class on the same day as a run?

Dance class on the same day as a run?

I'm thinking of joining a dance class - I did a tiny bit of dance when I was a teenager, about 7 years ago, and I'd love to try it again. But I before I started with Get Running I hadn't done any exercise at all for years, and I'm a bit worried about doing too much all at once - especially as the dance class I want to join is on Tuesdays, which is one of the days I run. I don't really want to change the days that I run, as I like the pattern of my week as it stands. But I'd worry about having a run in the morning and then a pretty high energy dance class in the evening - do you think this'd be too much? I'm a bit worried about doing too much and wearing myself out and getting disheartened or injured!

Don't worry about it you should be fine if you ease your way in and don't go over the top. I run on evenings and tend to go swiming on the mornings of my runs and it's not had any impact on the runs. As long as your taking it easy inbetween I reckon you should be fine. Enjoy!
