Starting over?
Hi all. I have a question. I am about to start week 6. I am not running so much as I am jogging. I run on a treadmill and fluctuate my speed between 3.5 and 4.4 mph. I am wondering if I should start again at week one and work on increasing my speed. I am thinking of starting over, because since I am over half-way done at this point and my endurance is tons better than it was, maybe starting over I can work on my speed, cover more ground. I just finished the dreaded 20 minute run and went 1.3 miles, which while that is HUGE for me, is still not the greatest. What do you guys think about me starting from week 1?

Endurance comes before speed, and there's nothing wrong with a slow jog at this stage. If I were you I'd continue on with the programme until the end as you are, and then maybe do a few of the early weeks again focusing on on speed rather than time spent jogging. Also, maybe consider trying to run outside? You might find you can run faster more comfortably outside - I've definitely found that. Also running outside is lovely!
