hi
i seem to be suffering some minor knee pain, have been steaching before and after runs, also I work night shifts of 4 on 4 off and have been doing my runs before work, when at work I have to do 6 hostel checks over 3 biuldings, each check involes going up stairs approx 147 each check, do you think i could be over working my knees. I have been doing the job 6months and have always walked alot and have quite strong legs.
Any one have any idears as i dont want to stop running but i dont want to injer myself. I am ment to run today but i am thinking maybe not a good idea and rest as i will be working tonight.

Well done running – sorry about the knee discomfort.
You could look at going to a running shop and getting your gait analysed.
They should suggest a variety of shoes that will help, at various prices. They'll usually have a money back if you're not satisfied with them after 14 days deal – even when you've ben out running in them regularly, and getting them covered in mud, etc.
