1st run

Post by Fattyfattybumbum »

Wow. That was tough. I attempted to start using this app back in May and completed the first run. It was tough, but I managed it. Unfortunately the next few months of my life turned into the Jeremy Kyle show as I was made redundant, my parents announced they were getting a divorce after 30 years and my mum became quite unwell and was in and out of hospital. Needless to say I didn't feel like running. Now 5 months later things are settling down and this morning I decided to give it another go. After stepping on the scales I was horrified to find out I've put on over a stone since May and now weigh a whopping 19stone. I'm only 5'4 so it's even more horrendous. I then attempted the run and only managed to do half of it and then walked for the rest. I will get there though, I am absolutely determined. My partner and I have booked a cottage for new year and on new years day I intend to celebrate my running/weight loss achievement by climbing a mountain. Bring it on!
