Weight loss

Post by Geminidurham »

I've just completed week 1 and I feel wonderful. I am still nervous about being able to fit in the workouts when I go back to work after the holidays. I've never been good at motivating myself to workout so the voice has been nice. I am trying to lose a lot of weight and know that running works best for me but I wanted to know what type of weight loss testimonies do any of you have to share? I need all of the encouragement I can get. Thank you and good job and good luck to all of you.

Hi Amy, my first week felt great. I only struggled a little on day 2 because my legs were burning a little but I pushed through it with the help of the voice. Day three had ups n downs but once again I pushed through it. Even though it wanted me to rest on rest days all I wanted to do was run because it made me feel better. And I did because I knew my body could handle it do to previous workout training bootcamps. So I ran and walked but I am fitting those rest days in when my body tells me to. I think I'm going to try and stay away from the scale for a few weeks first and just focus on inches. But I'd really like to hear some weight loss stories. Good luck and I'm cheating for you. You can do it.

I'm on week 6 and haven't noticed a massive weight loss (maybe 3 or 4 pounds) but I haven't really changed my eating habits yet. Also I've run before so I don't think that this is a huge shock to the system, however about 4 years ago I had a lot of weight to lose and shifted 3 stone in 3 months through running and a healthy diet so hopefully after the first few weeks you should see a difference. Inches is probably a better gauge though because weight varies so much from person to person.

Good luck!
