Well i was getting back into my running & all my other exercise classes & it has now all been blown to peices!!!
I was at my keep fit class on tuesday,it was quite a high impact one ( which i was thorougly enjoying!!!) and we went into jumping lunges!! I landed slightly off balance and i dislocated my knee!!!
So it will prob b a while until i can exercise properly again!!!
Owch – that sucks. I've done that a few times (certainly twisted it very badly, anyway). Amazingly painful. In my case it took a couple of weeks to heal up what did they say for you?
I guess you're talking to a physiotherapist? The underlying problem for me was that my thigh muscles were not well balanced to each other (outside stronger than inside) which pulled the knee cap out and destabilised the join.

I'm still waiting to see someone about it! . I have to wear a leg brace for at leadt 3 weeks tho. Am still waiting for my appointment for an mri scan to see the damage and also with a pt!
