Week 5 run 3
Hello everyone... I have some questions.. I have worked my way up to week 5 run 3 and I cannot finish it! I am stuck! Actually it is hard for me to even run for 3 minutes now.. My legs start getting stiff and feeling like jelly.. I don't know if it is a mental thing, meaning I'm siking myself up or what... I was doing great before this run and was looking forward to running it but once I failed I can barely run at all!! Help!!

Have you tried extending your warmup period? Make it 10 mins brisk walking rather than 5. And do some slow jogging and skipping in it. Also try really cutting down your pace in the longer week 5 runs. The idea is to aim for duration and stamina. Not speed. Good luck. Keep us posted

Yeah I will try and slow my pace.. I run at a 4.2 to 4.3 pace and I run into the front of the treadmill.. I thought i was going to slow... Seems like I am working hard to stay at 4.2.... I will work on it..
