Week 1 Run 1 = sore legs

I just finished the first run of week one. Feels pretty good but i definitely have some sore legs! Just need to keep it up, right?

Yep! Make sure to stretch and keep going and the muscles get used to it quickly. I was pretty sore in W1, especially my hip flexors, but I'm in W4 and my muscles generally feel fine after I've run.

I find that my weekly yoga class really helps too! Good luck with c25k :)

Oooo yes! Your body is in a bit of shock with the exercise and you are using muscles you didn't use before!

You must must must spend time stretching. My groin is my sorest area after a run. It means I have to spend a little more time and stretch this area a couple of times in a day.
