Re: My Running Blog
Finally finished week one!!
Took a week ff between runs 1&2 due to work commitments but have done 2&3 according to schedule and am feeling great!
No aching (does that mean I'm doing the warm up right or not working hard enough? Haha), and can already feel myself improving - I don't feel like I'm ...

Re: My Running Blog
Thanks Catherine! As I have a long day on thursday (and may ache after 2 days in a row!) I think I'll wait the extra day. After all, even if I'm mot aching I suppose I should give my body a rest :)
I think it must be really hard for you though, knowing you were there before and having to start ...

Re: First run completed
Congratulations on conoleying your first run! I think Jeremy Kyle would be a great motivation for going as hard as you can (wanting to get away from the crazy people!)
Maybe try your next run outside, you don't look as daft as you may think. In fact, I saw an old school friend while I was out on my ...

Re: My Running Blog
Not aching as much as I thought I would be today. A little aching in my thighs which has eased after some stretches and a shower. The main aching is my stomach, which seems weird but I aren't complaining if my abs are getting a workout too!
I think it was the stretches after running that has ...

Re: New today
Lot of people do, but don't give up! Otherwise why was the point in struggling through your first session?
You can always redo weeks if you think the next one is going to be too hard. You can redo week1 10 times until you feel comfortable if you so wish!
The most important thing is not to give up ...

My Running Blog
Hi, I'm Becky, I'm 19 and I'm from east Yorkshire in England.
I'm 5'4" and 11.2 stone (so a bit overweight).
For years I've been saying I want to get fit (I have absolutely no stamina!) and have finally got around to making a proper plan. I bought some "Zagora hot pants" which are supposed to ...

Re: Just starting!
I did it!!
Well, half of it - I felt sick and pushed as hard as I could but has to stop when she said "you've run halfway".
I'm a little disappointed but it's further and longer than I've managed to run in years - I guess I just need to be a little more gradual than some people - it feels amazing ...

Re: Just starting!
Hey,
I never did manage to get started, because I lost my headphones! I'm sorted now and have set my alarm for 6am to get running before there's a chance anyone sees me!
I'm predicting I will look a complete state so running in the dark will be good :-)
