the saga continues...

Post by jtb0201 »

So, week 6 started today, and I've also started blogging my progress via Tumblr (see the signature :) )

The run went well, and I might even add the first half seemed quite pacey, and although I slowed down after the half way point it was still the furthest I've been on my travels! (jogging obviously, else I'd have lived a somewhat sheltered existence  )

Afterwards, as usual, I felt stellar. I hope the same is going for the rest of you joggers :)

Also, a note to those of us just starting out - I struggled to begin with, and this whole ordeal seemed daunting. But the success I feel now is great, and I still have a couple of weeks left to go!

Perseverance is key at the start, as well as keeping a good, manageable pace. When you really start to notice the difference, you'll feel so good!

Happy Running, Runners!

Thanks for the inspirational post! I just completed Week 4, Run 3 today, so I'm not truly a "runner" just yet. But I'm looking forward to Week 5!

Congratulations :) week 4 felt like a tough one for me, but it went by quite well. Enjoy week 5, doing the unbroken run is a really big step - and it doesn't have to be quick, i took it slowly, and sped up a bit at the end. Just make sure you don't run out of steam :)
