Making a running playlist!

Post by Lisa_Bee »

Hey folks,

I am just putting together a playlist that I'm hoping will help me through the hard times ahead!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :D

Hi

I don't think I could complete a run without Kelly Clarkson's what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Also downloaded Amelia Lily's new one...even though once telling myself I'd never buy X factor songs...I love it for running. Plus some Muse and Killers and Kate Bush's Running up that Hill! :-)

Hope that helps!

I love Switchfoot The War Inside, Dark Horses and Afterlife. I also like Coldplay Kingdom Come.

The Rocky Balboa soundtrack! Hearts on Fire, No Easy Way Out, Training Montage, War, Fanfare for Rocky, Eye of the Tiger - all absolute gold!

Calvin Harris, Rihanna, and anything with a dancey beat are really good for me, even though they're not the sort of thing I'd listen to while I'm not running.

I actually find things with a slower beat work for me as I'm a really slow runner (getting faster) and as a music teacher I tend to match the beat quite accurately and if I put on something too upbeat my pacing goes to pot. Oddly I find Rachmaninov and Chopin work well for me but I'm just weird :)

I'm not really into rap but this song really gets me pumped! It's upbeat, high energy, and the first lyric is... "You might not wanna jog on this one!" Haha!
